Ethics Without Rules is a practical resource for artists, teachers, students, and community practitioners working with participation, performance, socially engaged art, and community-based projects.
It begins from a simple problem: ethical principles such as “do no harm,” “be honest,” and “gain consent” matter, but they do not always transfer neatly into participatory art. Artistic work may involve fiction, ambiguity, surprise, discomfort, role-play, public interaction, or incomplete knowledge. That is why this resource is question-focused rather than rule-focused.
The resource is available in two languages: Traditional Chinese and English. It includes case studies, question cards, follow-up prompts, and a spin wheel. It is designed to be downloaded, printed, cut out, assembled, and used in classes, workshops, rehearsals, planning meetings, or independent projects.
The resource is also made to be adapted. You can use the included case studies, bring your own examples, rewrite the questions, remove what is not useful, or add questions that better fit your own context.
The aim is not to remove risk or reach easy agreement. The aim is to create space for careful discussion before, during, and after working with others.

《藝術不守則，倫理無規則》（Ethics Without Rules）是一份實用的資源工具包，專為從事參與式藝術、表演、社會參與藝術以及社區計畫的藝術家、教師、學生和社區工作者而設計。
本資源包始於一個簡單的問題：「不傷害」、「誠實」和「取得同意」是重要的田野倫理原則，但它們往往無法直接套用到參與式藝術中，因為藝術創作可能涉及虛構、模糊、驚奇、不適感、角色扮演、公眾互動，或是在資訊不完整的情況下進行。這就是為什麼本資源包著重於提出問題，而非制定規則。
本資源包提供繁體中文與英文兩種版本，內容包含研究案例、提問卡、延伸討論提示，以及一個轉盤。它可供下載、列印、剪裁、組裝，運用於課堂教學、工作坊、排練過程、企劃會議，或獨立的計畫中。
這套資源包也鼓勵使用者依需求進行調整與改編。您可以使用其中提供的研究案例，也可以帶入自己的案例；可以重新撰寫提問、刪除不適用的內容，或加入更符合自身情境的新問題。
本資源包的目的並非消除所有風險，或快速達成共識；而是為了在與他人合作的前、中、後各個階段，創造一個能夠進行審慎討論的空間。
